Henry and Mike's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is the recipe we came up with together.  Everyone we know loves these cookies.
I'm willing to bet you would love them too.

This should make about 3 dozen by the way.  That's 36.  Yeah, 36 delicious cookies all for you. >:D

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
a bit of water, I usually just eye ball it, but 1 teaspoon should be enough
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup of flour (I use King Arthur, but any will do... I just love King Arthur for everything I do)
A dash of salt... about 1/4 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Alright! Time for the directions:

Preheat to 325 F.
Mix the butter and sugar well.
Continue mixing and add the egg.
Continue mixing and add the water and vanilla.
Blend it all together.
Sift the flour in.
Throw the baking soda and salt in there.
Now pour in those delicious choco chips and mix em all up.
Spread em out on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

Usually directions tell you to let them sit for at least 20 minutes, but what ever... who really waits anyway?  Enjoy those cookies!
